Captain Bridget Shear

Bridget hails from California by way of Hawaii. Her extensive sailing resume and fun loving spirit all make her a great asset to Sail Safaris. She can be found sailing Fly Girl, Dell Rose and our Beach Catamarans. She loves to sail and snorkel. It was interesting to find similar fish species on the reefs of the Virgin Islands.

Captain Chris Hanson

Chris has a background in sailing performance multihulls and has spent many seasons here on St John. His laugh is contagious and he is just a downright loveable guy. He has sailed the world including Central America and the Galapagos Islands.

He spends his summers on Long Island working on yachts. Chris is from Maine.

Michelle is an avid snorkeler and coral reef guide. She knows the fish and coral on a first name basis. Her snorkel tours are the stuff of legends.

Before guiding tours for Sail Safaris she was a kayak expedition guide. Her love of nature and great smile all make a day out with Michelle a great time.

Michelle is also from Maine.

Captain John Lee

Singer, songwriter and sailor extraordinairre John comes to Sail Safaris by way of Virginia. His enthusiasm for life and appreciation of nature spills over into everything he does. His love of snorkeling and exploring the islands makes a day out on the water with John very special.

Many of his guests meet up later to catch one of his many gigs her around town.
